Truck Under 5 Lakh Listings

Truck Under 5 Lakh

You should know one thing before you scroll. A true four-wheel truck under 5 lakh in India barely exists in 2026. Only two four-wheelers genuinely start below the line: the Tata Ace Pro at Rs 3.99 lakh and the Tata Ace Gold from Rs 4.50 lakh, both ex-showroom. Everything else under a ₹5 lakh budget is a mini truck, a three-wheeler load carrier or a small electric loader. Those are real vehicles that earn real money, so they are evaluated properly with payload, range and price instead of pretending they are trucks.

Truck Under 5 Lakh Review

Ranked by what they earn, not by what they look like. I have kept the three-wheelers and the four-wheelers separate, because they do completely different jobs and need different permits.

Tata Ace Pro - the cheapest real four-wheel truck on the site

At Rs 3.99 lakh, Tata Ace Pro is the only four-wheeler on TruckOnWheels that sits clearly under the 5 lakh line. It carries 750 kg on a 1,460 kg GVW chassis, from a 694 cc petrol BS-VI engine making 22 kW, roughly 30 HP, and the spec table shows 14 kmpl. CNG variants are listed too.

Buy it if you want four wheels and a Tata workshop nearby. Do not expect diesel torque. On petrol, 30 HP with 750 kg aboard feels slow on any climb, so keep it on flat city routes.

Mahindra Jeeto - the most flexible mini truck under Rs 5 lakh

Rs 4.46 lakh to Rs 5.27 lakh buys 715 kg of payload, or 815 kg on the Strong Diesel variant, at 1,450 kg GVW. The 625 cc engine makes 17.3 kW and 48 Nm, and the site quotes 21.2 kmpl on petrol, 29 to 32 km/l on diesel and 35 to 37 km/kg on CNG.

The CNG variant is the one I would sign for. At 35 km/kg your fuel bill on a 60 km daily route is small enough that the vehicle pays its own EMI. Skip the petrol version unless CNG filling is genuinely unavailable where you live.

Tata Ace Gold - the safest first purchase

Rs 4.50 lakh to Rs 6.69 lakh, 710 kg payload, 1,510 kg GVW. Only the lower variants of Ace Gold fit this budget, so check the variant price before you book.

I recommend this to first-time buyers, and not because the numbers are better. They are not. Every mechanic in India has worked on an Ace, spares are cheap and resale is predictable. When the vehicle is your only income, that beats 100 kg of payload.

Bajaj WEGO C90 - electric three-wheeler with real range

Rs 4.34 lakh for a 5.5 kW electric loader carrying 410 kg to 500 kg at 900 kg GVW, with 207 km of range on a charge.

207 km is far more than a city loader needs in a day, so you charge overnight on a cheap tariff and never queue at a pump. On fixed-route parcel, dairy or vegetable work inside one city, the Wego C90 costs less per kilometre than anything with an engine.

Bajaj WEGO P70 - the cheapest electric loader worth buying

Rs 3.23 lakh to Rs 3.63 lakh gets you a 4.6 kW motor, 40 Nm, a 9.2 kWh battery and a listed 180 km range with a four and a half hour charge. Wego P70 the cheapest sensible way into electric load carrying.

Gayam Motor Works Loader E-Auto - the lowest entry price here

Rs 1.40 lakh for 400 kg of payload at 600 kg GVW, a 10 hp motor, a 48V battery and 60 to 110 km of range. The limit is obvious: 400 kg and 30 to 50 km/h top speed. It works for short intra-city loops and nothing else.

All prices here are ex-showroom. Add 8 to 12 percent for RTO, insurance and permit, so a Rs 4.46 lakh Jeeto lands near Rs 4.90 lakh on the road. Financiers fund 80 to 90 percent, so plan for Rs 50,000 to Rs 90,000 of your own money and an EMI near Rs 10,000 over 48 months.
