SIAM Releases Zone-Wise LCV Truck Sales Data of Q3 FY26

SIAM has released detailed zone-wise sales data for light commercial vehicle goods carriers for the third quarter of FY26. The report covers October to December 2025. Mahindra & Mahindra emerged as the market leader with 82,009 units sold across four zones.
Mahindra Sells the Most LCV Trucks
Mahindra Commercial Vehicles led the LCV truck segment with 82,009 units sold in Q3 FY26. Zone-wise breakdown shows 17,675 units in the north zone, 10,519 units in the east, 33,696 units in the west, and 20,119 units in the south. The company holds a commanding 41.1% market share in the west zone.
Tata Motors Ranks Second
Tata Commercial Vehicles sold 48,293 LCV trucks during the quarter, securing second position. Sales included 13,392 units in the north zone, 8,130 units in the east, 14,263 units in the west, and 12,508 units in the south. Except for the east zone, all three remaining zones contributed similarly to Tata's LCV sales.
Ashok Leyland Takes Third Place
Ashok Leyland sold 19,063 LCV trucks in Q3 FY26, ranking third among LCV manufacturers. The company sold 1,908 units in the north zone, 1,478 units in the east, 5,730 units in the west, and 9,953 units in the south. With 52.2% market share, Ashok Leyland is dominant in the south zone.
Maruti Suzuki Holds Fourth Rank
Maruti Suzuki sold 11,498 LCV goods carriers in Q3 FY26, taking fourth place. Zone-wise sales were 1,317 units in the north, 604 units in the east, 8,492 units in the west, and 1,085 units in the south. The company holds a massive 73.9% share in the west zone but is least prevalent in the east with only 5.3% share.
VECV-Eicher Secures Fifth Place
Volvo and Eicher sold 3,750 LCV trucks during the quarter. Sales included 842 units in the north zone, 372 units in the east, 1,409 units in the west, and 1,127 units in the south. The company has a significant 37.6% presence in the western zone.
Other Manufacturers Post Lower Volumes
SML Mahindra (formerly known as SML Isuzu) sold 663 units, with highest sales from the north zone at 441 units. Switch Mobility sold 605 units, also receiving highest sales from the north zone at 251 units. Isuzu Motors registered 536 units, with 238 units coming from the south zone. Force Motors sold 312 units. Montra Electric sold 301 units, with 162 units from the south zone giving it 53.8% share there.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor sold 33 units, while Pinnacle Mobility's EKA sold 27 units of light-duty goods carriers in Q3 FY26.
West Zone Contributes Highest Share
Overall, the light commercial vehicle segment recorded domestic sales of 1,67,090 units in Q3 FY26. The west zone contributed the highest share at 38.4%, followed by the south and north zones.
