Ashok Leyland October 2025 Sales Hit Over 15,200 Units

Ashok Leyland just posted some impressive numbers for October 2025. The company is riding a steady wave of demand, proving that truck buyers are staying busy and confident.
What Are the Key Ashok Leyland Sales Numbers?
The headline figure is 15,212 commercial vehicles sold. This includes both trucks sold here in India and those shipped overseas. Compared to last October, that's a solid 14% jump. This growth tells a story of a healthy commercial vehicle market.
Is the Domestic Truck Market Still Strong?
Absolutely. The home market is where Ashok Leyland is seeing its biggest gains. Domestic sales reached 14,675 units in October. That is a strong 14% year-on-year increase. It seems fleet operators and individual owners are continuing to invest in new equipment.
Which Truck Segment is Driving Growth?
Both the heavy-duty and light-duty segments are performing well.
The M&HCV segment, which includes trucks for long-haul and heavy cargo, sold 7,972 units. That is an 11% growth. This suggests robust activity in infrastructure and goods transport.
The LCV segment was even hotter. Sales of light commercial vehicles hit 6,703 units. This marks an impressive 19% surge. This points to continued strength in last-mile logistics and intra-city distribution networks.
How Did Ashok Leyland's Export Sales Perform?
The overseas market also showed positive signs. Total exports reached 537 units in October 2025. This is a modest but welcome 3.5% growth. The story within the export numbers is interesting. Sales of medium and heavy trucks abroad grew by a healthy 15%. This indicates a successful push in key international markets.
Ashok Leyland is clearly maintaining its stride. With both domestic and export sales in the green, the company is well-positioned as we head into the final months of the year.
