BharatBenz Launches Upgraded 4828RT 10x4 Tipper With Longer Body

BharatBenz has launched an upgraded version of the 4828RT 10x4 tipper truck. The new model comes as a fully-built solution with a large 29 cubic metre load body. It is designed for heavy-duty mining and construction applications.

Proven Powertrain Delivers 281 HP and 1100 Nm Torque

The upgraded 4828RT is powered by an OM 926 diesel engine paired with a G131 HD 9-speed transmission. It churns out 281 hp at 2,200 rpm and 1,100 Nm of torque between 1,200 and 1,600 rpm. A 430 mm dry-type clutch system ensures seamless torque transmission. The gearbox PTO spline comes as standard for auxiliary attachments needed for tipping applications.

Solid Suspension Combines Comfort and Load Capacity

The truck features a 4-leaf parabolic leaf spring suspension at the front. The rear gets bogie suspension with a bolster for heavy-load bearing capacity. Anti-roll bars are fitted at both front and rear sections. This combination delivers superior vehicle control on steep roads and uneven terrain under load.

Heavy-Duty Braking System with Dual-Line Air Brakes

The BharatBenz 4828RT is equipped with a dual-line pneumatic braking system and ABS. Both front and rear sections feature 410 mm drum brakes tested for durability and reliability. The dual-line setup ensures effective braking even under heavy load conditions.

Large 29 Cubic Metre Load Body for Faster Turnaround

The vehicle comes with a 29 cubic metre load body as a fully-built solution. External dimensions measure 10,932 mm in length, 2,580 mm in width, and 3,500 mm in height. This large capacity allows carrying bulk materials in fewer trips.

260-Litre Fuel Tank Enables Continuous Operations

A 260-litre diesel tank supports long hours of operation with fewer refuelling stops. This is especially useful for remote mining sites and construction locations where fuel stations may be far away.

New Drive Modes and Hill-Hold Assist Added

The upgraded iteration introduces multiple drive modes for easier operation across different terrains. Hill-hold assist prevents rollbacks on steep inclines, adding a layer of safety and convenience.
