Eicher Pro X EV Completes A Record Kashmir to Kanyakumari Trip

An Eicher Pro X EV electric mini truck has completed an epic 4,000 km journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. It made the trip fully loaded and in just six days, setting a new benchmark for electric commercial vehicles in India.
A Certified Record Run
The journey was officially monitored and verified. Officials from the India Book of Records (IBR) oversaw the entire expedition. They verified the route, the full load condition, and every charging stop. This makes the achievement an authenticated benchmark, not just a promotional drive.
The Pro X EV Used Public Charging Infrastructure
A key part of the challenge was using existing infrastructure. The team relied entirely on public charging stations along the route. They located these stations using Eicher's own 'MyEicher' mobile application. This proves that long-distance electric trucking is possible with India's growing charging network.
The Pro X EV Covered 4,000 km in Six Days
The truck started in Srinagar on January 20, 2026. It reached Kanyakumari on January 26, 2026. Covering such a vast distance in a week, while carrying a full load, demonstrates the vehicle's reliability and range capability under real-world conditions.
EVs Can Go Beyond Last-Mile
This feat carries a powerful message for the industry. Eicher states it proves electric trucks are ready for more than just short, last-mile delivery. They can be a viable solution for longer-haul logistics, forming the backbone of future green freight corridors in India.
The Pro X EV Showcases Eicher's EV Strategy
The successful expedition is a strong statement of intent from Eicher. It highlights the company's confidence in its electric vehicle technology and its commitment to an 'EV-first' future. It aims to show customers that electric trucks are commercially viable and reliable for their core business.
A New Chapter for Electric Trucks in India
The Kashmir to Kanyakumari run is more than a record. It's a real-world testament to the maturity of electric truck technology. It gives fleet operators tangible proof that electric vehicles are ready to take on the country's most demanding long-distance routes.
