Ashok Leyland has reported solid sales performance for February 2026. The company registered total commercial vehicle sales of 19,309 units including domestic and export markets. This marks a strong 25.9% year-on-year growth compared to 15,339 units sold in February 2025.

Ashok Leyland Domestic Sales Jump in Feb 2026

Ashok Leyland sold 18,649 units in the domestic market during February 2026. This represents a 32% year-on-year growth over 14,137 units sold in February 2025. Strong demand across both M&HCV and SCV segments drove the domestic performance.

M&HCV Segment Posts Growth

The Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle segment recorded 11,599 unit sales in February 2026. This compares to 8,368 units in the same month last year, marking a strong 39% year-on-year growth. Infrastructure activity and long-haul logistics requirements continued to drive this segment.

SCV Segment Grows to 7,050 Units

Small Commercial Vehicle sales reached 7,050 units in February 2026. This is up from 5,769 units in February 2025, reflecting a solid 22% year-on-year growth. Last-mile delivery and small business transportation needs supported the segment's performance.

Exports Decline to 660 Units

Ashok Leyland's export sales stood at 660 units in February 2026. This is down from 1,202 units in February 2025, registering a 54.2% decline. M&HCV exports fell 44.4% to 308 units. SCV exports dropped 45.7% to 352 units.

Combined Segment Performance Shows Growth

Total M&HCV sales including domestic and export reached 11,907 units. This reflects an impressive 33% growth over 8,922 units in February 2025. The SCV segment including exports reported sales of 7,402 units, a 15% year-on-year growth over 6,417 units.

Strong Momentum Continues in 2026

Ashok Leyland entered 2026 with solid momentum supported by healthy domestic demand. The strong performance reflects rising market activity, better fleet utilisation, and sustained customer confidence in the company's dependable and fuel-efficient commercial vehicle range.
