BharatBenz Opens New Dealership with Agile Trucking in West Bengal

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles has opened a new authorized BharatBenz dealership in Raniganj, West Bengal. The facility is operated by Agile Trucking and marks a significant expansion of BharatBenz's footprint in Eastern India.
New Dealership Located Strategically on NH2
The dealership is situated on National Highway 2, roughly 20 kilometers from Andal Domestic Airport. The location enables effective service coverage across the West Burdwan district, including the industrial centers of Durgapur, Raniganj, and Asansol. These areas see high demand from construction-led logistics, captive fleet operators, and railway sidings.
85,000 Square Foot Facility Operates 24x7
The cutting-edge facility spans 85,000 square feet and runs around the clock. It has twelve service bays and four accident repair bays. Four Mobile Reach Vans provide quick on-road assistance. With 65 highly qualified employees, the dealership can service more than 500 vehicles per month. It offers complete sales, service, and spare parts support.
BharatBenz Committed to Eastern India Expansion
Rajiv Chaturvedi, President & Chief Business Officer at DICV, stated that West Bengal continues to be a key market for BharatBenz. Growth is driven by infrastructure development, industrial activity, and freight movement along major national highways. Currently, BharatBenz has 418 touchpoints nationwide. The company plans to add 32 more in 2026, reaching a total of 450 touchpoints.

11 Service Workshops in West Bengal, 5 More Coming
BharatBenz currently operates 11 service workshops in West Bengal. Five additional touchpoints will be added in 2026. A new Regional Training Centre will open in Kolkata by Q4 2026 to provide trained engineers to dealerships, improving customer service experience.
Agile Trucking Has Sold Over 400 BharatBenz Vehicles
Agile Trucking has sold more than 400 BharatBenz commercial vehicles in the region since its founding in July 2022. The company now runs three active touchpoints in West Bengal, all ideally situated along busy highway corridors. CEO Vijayakumar K stated that the new facility reflects their long-term commitment to the region.
