Omega Seiki Mobility has made history. It has launched India's first production-ready self-driving electric three-wheeler. Named 'Swayamgati', this vehicle is now open for bookings. It promises to reshape urban transport.

Swayamgati Uses Advanced Self-Driving Tech

The vehicle is not just electric; it is autonomous. It uses a powerful combination of technologies. This includes LiDAR for mapping its surroundings. It also uses GPS navigation and multiple sensors. The system can detect obstacles up to six meters away. A remote safety monitor adds an extra layer of security.

Swayamgati is Designed for Controlled Routes

This self-driving rickshaw is built for specific areas. It is perfect for airports, large corporate campuses, and gated communities. It will also operate in industrial parks. The technology works best on pre-mapped, controlled routes. It is ideal for short, repetitive trips.

Swayamgati Boasts Impressive Electric Performance

As an EV, it has a 10.3 kWh battery pack. This gives it a range of up to 120 kilometers on a single charge. It produces zero tailpipe emissions. This makes it a clean solution for congested urban spaces.

The First Self-Driving Three-Wheeler is Tested Already

The vehicle is not a prototype. It has already passed real-world tests. In one demonstration, it completed a 3 km autonomous journey with seven stops. It successfully navigated and detected obstacles in real time. The next phase will see it deployed in select commercial locations.

Priced for the Indian Market

The passenger version starts at ₹4 lakh (ex-showroom). The cargo variant is priced at ₹4.15 lakh. The company plans to produce 1,500 units in the next two years. This makes advanced technology accessible.

A New Chapter for Indian Mobility

Swayamgati marks a giant leap forward. It proves that self-driving technology is a reality for India today. It offers a smart, safe, and sustainable solution for the future of city travel.
