Uno Minda has introduced a new range of trumpet horns for the Indian aftermarket. The lineup comprises five models spanning 80mm and 90mm diameter categories. Prices start at ₹800 and go up to ₹3,400. The horns target passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, and heavy commercial fleets.

New Uni Minda Horns Available Across Retail and Online Platforms

The products are available through leading retail outlets across India. Customers can also purchase them on online platforms including Amazon, Flipkart, and Unomindakart. The wide distribution network ensures easy accessibility for vehicle owners and fleet operators.

E80 Electronic Trumpet Horn Leads Premium Range

The E80 12V Electronic Trumpet Horn features an integrated electronic chip for consistent sound output. It offers reverse polarity protection and plug-and-play installation. This model comes with a three-year warranty from the date of manufacture, positioning it as a long-service option for users seeking reliability without frequent replacements.

T80 Vertical Horns Offer Space-Saving Design

Two variants of the T80 12V Vertical Trumpet Horn are part of the lineup. One comes with a protective grill, while the other is without grill. Both feature a vertical, space-saving form factor suited to vehicles with limited installation space. They carry dust and splash resistance for use in varied road conditions.

General-Use T80 Targets Passenger and Light Commercial Vehicles

A fourth model, the T80 12V Trumpet Horn, is positioned as a general-use option. It features universal fitment and ABS construction. The horn is suited to both passenger and small commercial vehicles. It targets buyers who require straightforward, compatible replacements without premium features.

T90 Melody Horn Designed Specifically for Commercial Vehicles

For commercial vehicle applications, Uno Minda introduced the T90 24V Melody Trumpet Horn. The company describes it as first-of-its-kind in its category. It replaces conventional pipe horns used in heavy vehicles. The horn offers eight selectable tones and operates on a 24V system standard to commercial vehicle electrical configurations. It targets fleet operators requiring consistent performance in high-traffic conditions and on highways.

Demand Driven by Rising Traffic Congestion

Anand Kumar, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Uno Minda's aftermarket division, said the launch was driven by increasing traffic congestion. He noted that varied road environments have made reliable on-road communication more critical than before. The new range covers all major vehicle segments from performance to premium categories.

Horns Built for Indian Road Conditions

All models have been manufactured using materials subjected to quality testing. They are tested for resistance to heat, dust, moisture, and vibration. These are conditions routinely encountered across Indian road environments. Installation has been designed to be compatible across multiple vehicle platforms, reducing the need for specialised fitment.

Uno Minda Has Strong Aftermarket Presence

Uno Minda was established in 1958 and operates 72 manufacturing plants. Its aftermarket division covers more than 30 product categories including switches, lighting, sensors, batteries, alloy wheels, and seating. The company distributes through over 1,400 business partners, 40,000 retailers, and 70,000 service points across 600-plus districts in India. It also maintains a presence in Europe, the United States, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
